Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Able Stars ABA, LLC (“Able Stars,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information collected through ablestarsaba.com (the “Site”). It applies to Able Stars ABA, LLC and its affiliated entities. Health information created or maintained in the course of providing services is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, available on our website and on request.

Information We Collect

  • Contact form submissions — name, email address, phone number, how you heard about us, and preferred contact time. The form is for initial outreach only and asks you not to include medical information; clinical and insurance information is collected later through secure intake forms.
  • Technical information collected automatically — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and visit times.
  • Application and resume information from job applicants.

All forms on the Site, including future forms, submit to a HIPAA-compliant environment. We do not collect payment card, bank account, or Social Security numbers through the Site.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including third-party tools that support security and analytics. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings and use the opt-out tools offered by the National Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance. We honor browser-based opt-out signals where required by law. Pages may embed third-party content such as videos or maps, which sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy; if blog comments are enabled, we collect the comment form contents and your IP address for spam detection, and comments are public.

Text Messages

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, you consent to receive text messages from Able Stars ABA at that number. We use text messaging only for service-related communication — appointment reminders, follow-ups, scheduling, and billing inquiries. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages. Consent is not a condition of receiving services or of any purchase.

Opt-in methods. Verbally with our staff, by checking the consent checkbox on a form on our Site, or by submitting a form that includes the consent disclosure.

Frequency and rates. Up to 30 messages per month; frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, and rates may differ for domestic and international messages.

Opt-out and help. Reply STOP to opt out — you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. To rejoin, text START to (410) 525-5005. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact info@ablestarsaba.com or (410) 525-5005.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and mobile opt-in data is never shared or sold to third parties or lead generators. Numbers are disclosed only to the providers that transmit messages on our behalf. We retain mobile numbers and records of consent — including date, time, and method of opt-in — for as long as you remain opted in and afterward as needed to demonstrate compliance, and we retain opt-out records so that we do not message you again. Our SMS terms of service are in our Terms and Conditions.

How We Use and Share Information

We use information to respond to inquiries, verify coverage, complete intake and authorization, schedule and deliver services, evaluate job applications, operate and secure the Site, and meet legal, payer, and licensing obligations.

We share information with our own staff; with vendors bound by Business Associate Agreements where they handle health information; with health plans and payers; with other treating providers as permitted by law; with government, licensing, and legal authorities when required; and with a successor entity in a merger or sale. We do not sell personal information.

Security, Retention, and Other Terms

We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards consistent with the HIPAA Security Rule. No system is completely secure — do not send sensitive clinical information by unsecured email or text. We retain information for the periods required by law, payer contracts, and state record-retention rules, then securely destroy it. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. We may update this Policy and will revise the “Last Updated” date above; continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance.
